Stella

2005 Restoration photos of S/V Stella, 1967 Allied Seawind #90.
Restoration work in 2005 includes, refinishing the deck with an additional coat of Petit Easy-Poxy both sand (nonskid areas of the deck) and semi-gloss white.  Sanding and painting all white area in the cabin; painting the cabin ceiling, sanding and varnishing all interior mahogany; trying yet again to get the new burner in the cabin heater to work properly (we give up and are going to use propane heater); installing new Simrad radar; cleaning the aluminum locker tracks; painting the lockers, varnishing to deck, fixing the fresh water system, removing the
rudder and restoring bushings on the pintals and gudgeons.    Stella is bound for the outer coast of Nova Scotia on this summer's cruise from mid-July to mid-August.

Work done during May 2005.
