Skiing conditions are amazing for both skate and classic today. The suggested Tour de jour for intermediate skiers is the Hall Trail and Maple Mountain.  The view from Maple should be beautiful and mostly in the clear today.  Suggested Tour de jour for those who are seeking a more relaxed skiing experience, the Southern end of the Ellis River Trail, or the Woodchuck fields across Wildcat Brook Bridge to Alice’s alley and Eagle Fields. With calm winds out of the south it is a lovely day to enjoy the fields and the views of Carter Dome and Carter Notch.   We keep telling you just how fantastic the conditions are. Stock up on sun screen and break out the t-shirts, spring skiing is on the way!

There is still plenty of skiing left to be had this year but it’s never too early to start thinking about next ski season.  The early bird gets the best rate.  For those of you who do not hold a current season pass with us, you can buy your pass today thru March 31 and ski for FREE for the rest of this season and your pass will be good for the entire 2016 ski season!  At only $120 this truly is an unbeatable deal.  For those of you who already have a pass with us this year, buy now for next year as this is the lowest possible rate.  If you have questions about our season pass pricing, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 603.383.9355, email your question to info@Jacksonxc.org or even better, stop in and ask our friendly staff while you are here.

We also have a number of great events still to come:

Also, be sure to save the date for March 7th for the first annual Jackson Ski Fest! March 15, Jen’s Friends Fundraiser Paddle Foot Snowshoe fun run relay and March 18, Jackson Junior Skier Scholarship Fund Pizza benefit dinner & 50/50 raffle at the Red Fox. Order in or take out.  Proceeds support young athletes in the Mount Washington Valley.

Come on up, over or down, the skiing is truly fantastic!

I’ll see you on the trails
