Registration, including time periods for different age groups.  We will be using optical biathlon rifles for this programming.  The rifles look like regulation rifles, but they are not actual firearms.   They use a beam of light to impact the target so there is no noise from the ‘shot’ and no recoil.  The ‘shot’ is displayed on a screen next to the participant.

The range will be located adjacent to the Touring Center, look for the “Biathlon” signs, or ask for directions at the Front Desk of the Touring Center. There will be a brief talk about “Range Safety” at the beginning of the lesson.

$50/youth; $100/adult.

Times vary by age group.

Ski ticket or season pass required.

What to bring/wear:

You can bring classic skis, skate skis, or snowshoes.  Rentals are available at JacksonXC. Dress in layers to stay warm during the instruction and be able to remove layers for the ‘race’ at the end of the lesson. Bring both thick and thin gloves if possible.
