White Mountain Classic

2024 Freeman Frost White Mountain Classic
TECHNIQUE Classic only.
DATE Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024
DISTANCE 21 KM
14K for M11 and 12
7 K for BKL

All have the option to ski a shorter distance; the official distances are the ones for “scoring” in the Popular Race Series.
NENSA Part of the NENSA Popular Race Series, Zak Cup and One-Day Club Championship
START/FINISH The race starts in Jackson Village and ends 2 KM from the start line, on the Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
MASS START Racers are expected to self-seed from the start line.
RACE COURSE The course as projected will start on the “Madeline’s Side” of Rt 16B, ski across that part of the golf course and onto (and up) the Yodel Trail.
There it will join The Eagle/Wave Race Course which includes Eagle, Airport, John, Wave/Henry/Wave, Eagle Fields, and Repeat.
The plan is for a 6 to 7 K course; 3 laps for the full race; 1 lap for BKL; 2 lap race for M11 and M12; All are welcome to ski the 1 or 2 lap courses for time.
PARKING Parking will be in the Main Parking Lot at JacksonXC; there is overflow parking at the Thompson House Eatery.

PACKET PICK UP At a registration table inside the Touring Center
DAY-OF-RACE REG Pick up and complete a registration form as you enter the building; pay at the ticket desk and bring your receipt to the registration desk to get your bib.
AWARDS There will be trophies for the overall male and female winners for the full distance; plus White Mountain puzzle prizes for age group winners!
RACER MEAL Awards and racer lunch will take place at the Whitney Center, (time TBA).

Master 11 / M11: 80-84 – 2 lap

TOURING OPTION You may ask the timer to list you as “Touring” instead of listing your time.
